This collector has been designed specifically by British manufacturer SCH (Supplies) to harvest seeds in wild flower meadows. The brushes are powered by a Honda 5.5hp petrol manual start engine.
The collector drawbar is offset from the pulling vehicle so that the flowers are not flattened before the seeds are collected. The seeds are collected in the integral rear-mounted collection compartment which can easily be emptied via a convenient access door located on the side of the machine. The collected seeds can then be discharged into a bucket or sack by removing the internal drawer.
Featuring a working width of 925mm (37″), the height is adjustable from as low as 150mm (6″) up to a maximum of 600mm (24″). A manual hydraulic pump operates a ram mounted at the rear of the unit that allows simple height adjustment.
